On August 24, 2025 just after 2:30AM, District 5 officers received a call for a shooting in the 2700 block of Marcus Ave. When officers arrived, they located a man on the sidewalk who had been shot. EMS conveyed the man to the hospital, where he later died.
Homicide detectives responded to the scene and are handling the investigation.
The investigation remains ongoing.
