UPDATE: The driver that died in the crash has been identified as 47-year-old Corey McBride. The driver of the Chrysler 300 is cooperating with Accident Reconstruction investigators. The investigation remains ongoing.

Accident Reconstruction is investigating a deadly crash that happened at Dr. Martin Luther King and Whittier, at approximately 11:38 p.m. on May 3.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a black Jeep Wrangler was attempting to pass a gray Chrysler 300. The Chrysler then attempted to make a left turn onto Whittier as the Wrangler was passing. The Chrysler struck the Wrangler, causing it to overturn.
A man in the Jeep Wrangler died at the scene. The driver of the Chrysler ran away on foot.
