District 6 officers responded to a Shooting-Prior at an area hospital around 11:00 p.m. on July 12.
A 39-yera-old man had been shot multiple times and was not able to provide a statement to officers at the hospital. He was listed in critical/stable condition.
A 30-year-old man drove the victim to the hospital. He told officers that he did not know the man and that he was driving on Ruskin near Harney where the 39-year-old man was standing in the middle of the street flagging him down. The 39-year-old man told him that he had been shot and asked for a ride to the hospital.
The location of the shooting is still under investigation. A call for Shots Fired was received around the same time in the 8600 block of Oriole.
The investigation is ongoing.
