District 5 is investigating a cutting that occurred around 11 a.m. on March 10, 2025 and that possibly happened in the 5100 block of Palm Street.
Shortly after 11:35 a.m., officers received the cutting call in the area of the 4100 block of Union. While searching, officers located a 37-year-old male suffering from lacerations to his head in the rear of the 5100 block of Palm. EMS responded and transported the man to the hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
Officers attempted to speak with the 37-year-old man at the hospital to determine what occurred. However, the man refused to provide a statement and said he did not remember what happened. The investigation remains ongoing.
