Forensic technology has led St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD) detectives to positively identifying a man after years of investigating his death.
Jeremy Blair Clemons, 42, was found dead in the river at River Des Peres and Chippewa on July 17, 2020, around 8:30 p.m.
Using the victim’s DNA, Othram Inc. developed a DNA profile of the victim that allowed SLMPD detectives to identify the man and notify his family.
The death of Clemons has not officially been ruled a Homicide, but detectives are investigating it as a suspicious death.
