District 4 is investigating a shooting that left a man injured on July 8 at Schiller Park.
Around 3:30 p.m., officers were called to 15th & Market Streets for a shooting call. Upon arrival, they located a 56-year-old man with graze wounds to his legs. The victim told officers he was at the park sitting on a statue when an unknown male came up to him and fired shots in his direction. The victim, along with several other bystanders, were unable to describe the shooter to officers.
