Man Injured in Shooting on Interstate 70

District 6 officers drove up on an unoccupied car, stopped in the middle of westbound I-70 near the Adelaide exit around 3:00 a.m. on September 7.

Four people who had been inside the car were found on the side of the interstate. A 35-year-old man told officers he had been shot.

The 35-year-old man was the driver of the car and lost control when they were shot at.

The 35-year-old man was taken by EMS to an area hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
