Homicide Detectives are investigating a shooting that left one man dead, and another injured, on January 13, 2025 in the Gate District Neighborhood.
Just after 6:30 p.m. on January 13, officers received a call for a shooting in the 2600 block of Caroline. Upon arriving, officers located two men that had been shot.
EMS responded and pronounced one of the men dead at the scene. He has been identified as Julius Rogers of St. Louis City. The second man, 42, was taken to a hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
