Man Robbed at Gunpoint in Walnut Park West

On March 15, 2025, just after 11:00PM, officers received a call for a Hold-Up and responded to the 5000 block of Goodfellow. When they arrived, they located a 41-year-old man who claimed he had just been robbed at gunpoint.

The victim stated he was at a casino when two unknown men and an unknown woman offered him a ride home. The victim stated he accepted the offer and entered their black sedan, which then took him to an alley in the 5000 block of Goodfellow. The victim stated without warning, the two men each pulled a gun on him and demanded his money.

The victim stated the unknown man who was seated in the back of the sedan with him reached into the victim’s satchel and stole a large amount of cash. The victim then stated he was forced out of the vehicle and one of the men fired shots into the air. The victim stated he was struck in the face with one of the guns before the unknown suspects took off.

The 41-year-old man complained of pain to his jaw, but no injuries were observed by officers. While questioning the 41-year-old man, officers received conflicting statements regarding the incident and location where it occurred.
