District 5 is investigating a robbery that happened on January 27 in the 3600 block of Hamilton.
A 26-year-old man told officers he invited a female suspect he met online to his room at the Budget Inn motel around 3 p.m. A short time after arriving, the 26-year-old man said two male suspects knocked on the door and the female suspect opened the door to let them in.
Once inside, the 26-year-old man said one of the male suspects produced a handgun, pointed it at him, and then took his belongings, pants, and car keys. The male suspects and female suspect then fled in the 26-year-old man’s Nissan.
Prior to the completion of this report, the Nissan was spotted by 6th District officers in the area of West Florissant and I-70 with assistance from the Real Time Crime Center. A pursuit of the Nissan was initiated and ended on the McKinley Bridge after the Nissan lost control and struck a Mitsubishi.
A 46-year-old male, a 39-year-old male, and a 31-year-old woman that exited the Nissan were all apprehended. They were taken to a hospital and found to be fit for confinement, then taken into custody. Two occupants of the Mitsubishi received medical treatment from the accident.
The investigation remains ongoing.
