District 4 is investigating a home invasion that occurred on September 5 at the Six Cord Apartments in the 1000 block of Washington.
A 23-year-old man told officers around 1:30 a.m., he was sleeping in his living room when he was abruptly awoken by an armed male suspect who was accompanied by two other male suspects. The 23-year-old man said the suspects asked him where his money and property were located. When the man advised where his property was, the suspects retrieved the property and then fled from the scene. The victim said he waited several hours before reporting this incident due to being fearful of leaving the apartment.
