Man Robbed in Forest Park

District 2 is investigating a robbery that occurred on April 6, 2025 in Forest Park.

At approximately 11:35 p.m., officers received a call for a larceny relative to this incident. A 39-year-old man told officers around 8 p.m., he was walking in Forest Park near the intersection of Carr Lane & Wells Drive. The man said he was looking for his brother so he could walk with him.

While searching for his brother, the 39-year-old man said he was approached by two unknown male suspects who were armed with handguns. The man said the suspects demanded money.

The 39-year-old man said the suspects took his wallet, jewelry and car keys then ran from the scene. The 39-year-old then responded home before contacted police. The investigation is ongoing.
