District 2 is investigating a robbery that occurred on August 25 around 1 Theatre Drive around 12 p.m.
A 47-year-old man told officers he was sitting on a park bench around the Muny. Three unknown men wearing all dark clothing, approached him from behind. Suddenly, one of the men produced a handgun and the other two men robbed the victim of his Apple I-Phone, his keys, and his wallet. The men ran on foot.
The men located the 47-year-old’s vehicle and tried to steal it. They were unsuccessful and began running away. The 47-year-old man chased after the men. One man raised a gun in the air, fired off one shot, and pointed the gun at 47-year-old.
