District 3 is investigating a robbery that happened on April 10, 2025 at Winnebago Street & Tennessee Avenue.
A 59-year-old man told officers he was walking around 7:45 p.m. when he was approached by a white Chevy Cobalt. The man said the driver of the Cobalt, an unknown male suspect, pointed a gun at him while the passenger, another unknown male suspect, exited the car.
The 59-year-old man said he was punched by the second suspect who then took his wallet. The suspect reentered the Cobalt after taking the wallet.
The Cobalt fled from the scene, and the 59-year-old man ran home to call police. The investigation remains ongoing.
