Man Robbed, Kidnapped in Baden

District 6 is investigating a robbery that happened between January 25 and January 26 in the Baden neighborhood.

A 53-year-old man responded to the North Patrol Division around 5:30 p.m. on January 26 to report this incident. The man told officers he had just picked up his daughter, a 33-year-old woman, around 10 p.m. on January 25 and she instructed him to drive to Lowell & Jackson Streets. Once there, the 53-year-old man said they were suddenly approached by four male suspects who forced him into a vacant property at gunpoint.

The 53-year-old man said he was struck in the face with a firearm by the suspects while inside the vacant property. The man said the suspects then took his clothing, jewelry, and money. During the incident, the man said his daughter conversed with the suspects as if she knew them.

The 53-year-old man said the suspects eventually allowed him to leave the location at approximately 1 p.m. on January 26. The man sustained a facial injury from being struck with the firearm; however, he declined medical attention. The investigation is ongoing.
