District 3 is investigation a shooting that occurred on July 11 at the Schnucks parking lot in Gravois Park.
Shortly after 7 p.m., officers responded to a call for a “Shooting” and located a 44-year-old man with gunshot wounds to his arm. A second man, 22, who was with the 44-year-old was not injured.
A preliminary investigation revealed the men were possibly involved in an argument with three other men (suspects) when of the suspects pulled out a firearm and fired shots at the victims. Both victims provided conflicting statements and/or were uncooperative during the investigation.
EMS transported the 44-year-old man to the hospital for treatment. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with a tip about this incident who wants to remain anonymous and is interested in a possible reward for their tip can contact CrimeStoppers at 866-371-TIPS (8477).
