District 6 is investigating a shooting that left a 42-year-old man injured on February 24 in the 4800 block of Bessie.
The 42-year-old man told officers around 7 p.m., he was involved in an argument with a 38-year-old man, who is a family acquaintance, relative to ongoing issues. During the argument, the 42-year-old man said he was shot by the 38-year-old man. The 42-year-old was struck in his arm by the gunfire. The 38-year-old fled in a white Dodge Avenger after the incident.
EMS responded and transported the 42-year-old man to the hospital for treatment. The investigation is ongoing.
