District 6 is investigating a shooting that occurred on August 1 in The Greater Ville Neighborhood.
Around 9:30 p.m., officers were called to a local hospital after a 66-year-old man was dropped off with a gunshot wound to his leg. The victim told officers he was involved in an argument with an acquaintance, a 49-year-old man, who he was allowing to reside with him. During the argument, the man shot the victim and then fled from the scene.
