District 6 is investigating a shooting that left a man injured on August 14 in the Baden neighborhood.
Just before 4:10 a.m., officers received a call for a shooting victim at a St. Louis County hospital after a 42-year-old male victim was dropped off with a gunshot wound to his hand. The victim told officers he was in a heated confrontation around 3 a.m. in the 800 block of Canaan with a known male suspect when the suspect retrieved a handgun and fired shots at him. The suspect fled from the scene after the incident.
