District 3 is investigating a shooting that happened on August 20 at approximately 08:08 PM in the Dutchtown neighborhood.
At 8:08 p.m., officers were called to the 3400 block of Montana for a shooting. When officers arrived, they found a 39-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim told officers he was walking in the alleyway when an unknown male approached the victim and asked the victim to identify himself. The victim ran away and was shot.
EMS responded and transported the victim to the hospital where he was listed as stable. The investigation remains ongoing.
