District 4 is investigating a shooting that left a man injured on August 18 in the Jeff-Vander-Lou neighborhood.
At 6:15 p.m., officers were called to the area of Greer & Garrison for a shooting. Upon arriving, they located a 56-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim told officers a suspect he only knows by nickname shot him during an argument in the alley of the 2900 block of Greer. The suspect fled after the incident.
EMS responded and transported the victim to the hospital where he was listed in stable condition. The investigation remains ongoing.
