District 1 is investigating a shooting that happened around 11 p.m. on March 11, 2025 at South Broadway & Meramec Street.
At approximately 2:20 a.m. on March 11, 2025, officers received a call for a prior shooting victim at a hospital after a 24-year-old man responded for treatment of a gunshot wound. The 24-year-old man said he was not willing to cooperate or make a report. However, he eventually stated he was walking on Meramec & Broadway when he heard one gunshot and then felt pain to his leg.
The 24-year-old man was listed in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.
