District 1 officers responded to a Shooting in the 3900 block of Eichelberger around 5:40 a.m. on July 21.
Officers found a 33-year-old man who had been shot in the arm and was bleeding heavily. Officers immediately applied a tourniquet to address the bleeding.
The man, who was going in and out of consciousness, told officers that a man in all dark clothing shot him.
EMS transported the man to an area hospital where he was listed in critical/stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
