District 5 is investigating a shooting that left a man in critical condition on August 11 in the Vandeventer neighborhood.
At approximately 10 p.m., officers received a call to an apartment building in the 4100 block of Enright. Upon arriving, they located a 61-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim refused to provide a statement of what occurred, other than saying he was shot.
