Homicide Detectives are investigating the shooting death of a man on October 30, 2025 in the College Hill neighborhood.
At approximately 7:40 p.m., officers received a call for a shooting at East Prairie & Blair Avenues. Upon arriving, they located a 39-year-old man on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound. EMS responded and transported the man to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. He has been identified as 39-year-old Durrell Johnson of St. Louis City.
An adult male suspect is currently being sought. Detectives are working to find out the circumstances behind what led up to the shooting.
