Homicide detectives are investigating a shooting that left a man in his 50s dead on February 2 in the 4800 block of Leduc.
Shortly before 2:30 p.m., officers received a call for a shooting at an apartment at the location. Upon arriving, they located a man in his 50s shot inside an apartment. EMS responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene.
A preliminary investigation revealed the deceased man was shot by his neighbor, a 69-year-old man, after kicking in his neighbor’s door, as reported by the neighbor. The 69-year-old man was detained and questioned at the scene. He was then released pending further investigation.
