UPDATE: The deceased man has been identified as 32-year-old Lamont Wright, Jr. of Ferguson, MO.
Homicide Detectives are investigating the shooting death of a man on September 1, 2025 in the 4400 block of Marcus Avenue.
Just before 6:10 p.m., officers received a call for a shooting at the location. Upon arriving, they located a 32-year-old man lying in the street suffering from gunshot wounds. EMS responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene.
An investigation into the shooting remains underway, including what led up to the man being shot and the identity of a suspect.
