Homicide detectives are investigating a shooting that left a 38-year-old man dead on March 4 in the 5900 block of Lalite.
Just before 8 p.m., officers received a shooting call at the location. Upon arriving, they located the man on a porch suffering from a gunshot wound(s). The suspect, a 35-year-old male, was still at the scene and taken into custody.
EMS responded and transported the 38-year-old man to the hospital where he later died. An investigation into what led up to the shooting remains ongoing.
