District 3 officers responded to a Shooting in the 2900 block of California around 11:30 p.m. on August 16.
A37-year-old man told officers that a man he knows only by nickname approached him and began shooting, striking him in the leg.
EMS transported the 37-year-old man to an area hospital for treatment.
The investigation is ongoing.
