District 4 is investigating a stabbing incident that left a man injured on August 18 in the Columbus Square neighborhood.
Shortly before 6 a.m., officers were called to N. 13th Street & Cass Avenue. Upon arriving, they located a 31-year-old man suffering from puncture wounds. The victim told officers he was stabbed multiple times by an unknown suspect. The victim further stated he could not provide any information as to why the suspect did this. EMS responded and transported the victim to the hospital where he was listed in stable condition. The investigation remains ongoing.
