Homicide detectives are investigating a stabbing that left an unknown male dead on December 19 in the 8400 block of Water St.
At 4:08 p.m., officers received a call for a cutting at the location. Upon arriving, they located the unknown male bleeding in a rear yard. The man was not conscious or breathing. EMS responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene. Further examination of the man revealed a large stab wound was on his back.
An investigation is underway to identify the man and determine what led up to the incident. Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call the Homicide Division directly at 314-444-5371.
