District Five Detectives are investigating a shooting incident that happened on August 20, 2025 in the 2700 block of Goodfellow.
At approximately 9:40 a.m., officers received a call regarding a shooting in progress at the Price Chopper store. A preliminary investigation revealed an unknown male suspect entered Price Chopper and approached the cashier’s counter. At that point, an employee of the store asked the suspect to take off the face mask he was wearing. When the suspect refused to remove his face mask, the employee refused to provide service to the suspect.
The suspect became angry and left the store after being refused service for not removing his mask. Upon leaving the store, the suspect fired gunshots into the business and then ran away. No one was struck during the shooting.
The suspect is described as a black male, and he was wearing a black hooded jacket, black shorts, and a black ski-mask. He is considered armed & dangerous.
