PHOTOS: Suspect Wanted for Downtown Shooting

District 4 detectives are searching for the suspect pictured below. He is wanted for a shooting that happened on December 21, 2025 in Downtown.

Just before 8:30 p.m. on December 21, officers received a call for a shooting at Dr. Martin Luther King Drive and North 10th Street. Upon arriving, they located a 24-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds inside a vehicle. EMS responded and transported the man to the hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

Preliminary information from the 24-year-old man revealed that he was driving at the location when he heard gunshots. The man then felt pain to his body and realized he was struck by the gunfire.

An investigation into the incident led to the suspect pictured below. He is described as a younger black male with a thin build and medium-length dreadlocks. He was wearing a jacket/coat with a distinct design. He was revealed to be a passenger riding in a possibly 2012 silver Mazda 3 that had distinct black rims and damage to the front driver’s side fender, with a Missouri license plate of “BJ6T6W.”
