Sixth District detectives are investigating an assault that occurred on a Metro Bus on January 6, 2026 in the Baden neighborhood.
At approximately 7:30 p.m. on January 6, officers received a call for a fight on a Metro Bus at North Broadway and Gimblin Road. A preliminary investigation revealed an 18-year-old female victim was involved in a fight with an unknown female while on the bus. During the assault, three additional female suspects and a male suspect joined in and all began striking the 18-year-old victim.
The male suspect produced a knife and pointed it at passengers on the bus during the incident. All five suspects fled from the scene after the assault. The 18-year-old female victim declined medical attention at the scene.
