District 6 were near the 5000 block of Goodfellow when they heard multiple gunshots in the area shortly after 12:00 a.m. on August 10.
Numerous calls for Shots Fired and ShotSpotter were also received.
Officers arrived and located a 65-year-old man and a 60-year-old man, both suffering from gunshot wounds to their legs.
A preliminary investigation indicates that occupants of Jeep and occupants of a Infinity SUV were shooting at each-other when both the 65-year-old man and the 60-year-old man were caught in the crossfire.
Both the Jeep and the Infinity SUV fled the area prior to officers arriving.
Both the 65-year-old man and the 60-year-old man were transported to an area hospital by EMS where they were both listed in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
