District 4 officers responded to a call for ShotSpotter in the 4300 block of Strodtman shortly before 2:00 p.m. on August 6. While responding to the call, an additional call for a Shooting-Just Occurred was received in the 4300 block of N. Florissant.
Officers located an unidentified man in the gangway of a residence suffering apparent gunshot wounds. The man was not conscious and not breathing.
EMS responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene.
