District 4 officers responded to the 1900 block of N. Vandeventer on June 29, shortly after 9:00 p.m. for a Shooting.
When officers arrived, they were advised by witnesses that a man had been shot and privately driven to an area hospital.
At the hospital, the 36-year-old man told officers he was standing outside when he heard shots and realized he had been shot in the leg. He was listed in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
