St. Louis Board of Police Commissioners Selects Secretary to the Board

The Board of Police Commissioners is excited to announce and welcome Lt. Colin Tully as Secretary to the Board. As Secretary to the Board, Lt. Tully will work closely with the Board to serve as a liaison between the Board, the Department, the State, and the City. He will provide professional insight to the Board and manage its governance functions.

Chris Saracino, President of the Board shared that “we believe Lt. Tully’s extensive background within the SLMPD and his integrity within the Department will be a tremendous asset to our Board and help us attain our goals moving forward.”

Lt. Tully has worked for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department for almost 20 years. Throughout his tenure, Lt. Tully has served in numerous capacities, including community policing and engagement, Detective for the Child Abuse Division and the First District Detective Bureau, Deputy Commander for the Officer Wellness and Crisis Intervention Team, and Commander of the Prisoner Processing Division. Most recently, Lt. Tully supervised the North Patrol District in the City of St. Louis.

Upon being appointed to this position, Lt. Tully stated, “I’m honored to be appointed Secretary to the Board of Police Commissioners and excited to support its work. I look forward to serving the Board and contributing to its goals for the Department and the community.”
