2nd District Detective are seeking the suspect pictured in the below photos. He is wanted for an assault and attempt robbery on January 4 at Shicker Ford in the 3300 block of S. Kingshighway.
At approximately 11:09 a.m., the suspect entered the business and inquired about buying a car. The suspect then asked to test drive a car. While doing so, the suspect attempted to drive off without paying for the car.
When confronted by an employee, the suspect punched the employee before exiting the car and fleeing from the scene on foot.
The employee sustained a minor injury to his lip but declined medical attention. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 40 to 45 years, and approximately 5’7” to 5’9” tall. He was last seen wearing a black skull cap, black pants, a blue coat and brown boots.
