District 4

On January 19, 2025, around 7PM, District 4 officers responded to a call for shots fired in the 3700 block of Cottage Ave. When officers arrived, they observed the front door to a residence open and made entry.

On January 19, 2025, at approximately 6:30PM, District 4 officers responded to a call in the 1300 block of N. Tucker Blvd. When they arrived, they were met by a 24-year-old man who had a severe laceration to his face.

On January 18, 2025 around 1:47 PM, Officers were patrolling the Hyde Park neighborhood when they observed a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed. The vehicle came to an abrupt stop and the driver, a 21-year-old man, exited with an apparent gunshot wound to his face. Officers observed what appeared to be a close-range gunshot wound to the man’s cheek.

UPDATE: Additional details added about child’s injury. District 4 detectives are investigating a shooting that happened on January 11 in the 1300 block of North 16th. Officers received a call for a shooting just after 10:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they located a 5-year-old boy who was injured by flying glass after gunshots rang out and

District 4 is investigating a robbery that happened on January 3, 2025 at Foot Locker in the 3600 Block of Page Ave.
