Homicide Detectives are investigating a shooting that left a man dead on February 2, 2026 in the West End neighborhood.

UPDATE: The victim has been identified as 23-year-old Jardyn Walker, of Ferguson, Missouri. The victim’s family has been notified. Shortly before noon on January 14, 2025, officers responded to a shooting in the 1000 block of Hamilton.

On Friday, September 19, 2025, just after 5:30PM, District 5 Officers responded to the 4300 block of St. Ferdinand for a shooting. When they arrived, they located a 23-year-old man who had been shot. The man was transported to the hospital where he later died.
