District 4 is investigating a shooting that injured a 17-year-old on August 4 in the 2900 block of Greer Avenue.
A 17-year-old male reported to officers that around 6:20 p.m., he was walking home from the store when an unknown male suspect wearing a black face mask and blue jeans fired shots at him. He then ran home and contacted the police.
EMS responded and transported the teen to a hospital where he was listed in critical but stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.
