An exchange of gunfire led to a 15-year-old being injured in the Tiffany neighborhood Friday afternoon.
Around 3:45 p.m., on April 3, 2026, District 2 officers responded to the area of S. Grand and Park for shots fired. When officers arrived on scene, they located numerous shell casings near the gas station parking lot.
Officers were notified of a 15-year-old who had arrived at a hospital with gunshot wounds. The teen is stable.Â
A preliminary investigation reveals the teen was armed with a gun when he pointed it and fired the weapon at an adult man at the gas station. The adult man returned fire striking the 15-year-old. The adult man stayed at the scene and is cooperating with District 2 detectives.
