On March 1, 2025, around 3:00PM, District 6 officers responded to the intersection of Shreve and Anderson for a report of a shooting. When they arrived, they located a 14-year-old male who had been shot.
A preliminary investigation revealed the 14-year-old was outside the corner store when a dark colored vehicle drove by and fired multiple shots, striking the victim. The vehicle took off out of site.
Paramedics arrived and conveyed the 14-year-old to the hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
District 6 detectives are investigating this case.
