Last week, District 5 officers executed a search warrant in the 4700 block of Leduc related to a shots fired investigation.
During the search warrant, we found multiple firearms, some we believe were used in the shots fired.
We arrested two people, a 45-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man, in connection to our investigation and the Circuit Attorney’s Office issued charges for Assault 1st, two counts of Armed Criminal Action, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
Our investigation into this incident remains ongoing.
