Accident Reconstruction is investigating a two-car crash that left an unidentified male dead on May 28, 2025.
A preliminary investigation revealed a Ford Freestyle was traveling eastbound on Page Boulevard near Vandeventer Avenue around 2:08 a.m. when the Ford Freestyle violated a red traffic light at Vandeventer. The Ford Freestyle then struck a Ford Ranger which was traveling northbound on Vandeventer.
The Ford Freestyle came to a rest in a parking lot in the 3800 block of Page. The Ford Ranger struck a building in the 3800 block of Page. The impact of the Ranger striking the building caused both the Ranger and the building to catch on fire.
The Fire Department responded and put out the blaze. The driver of the Ford Ranger, an unidentified male, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Ford Freestyle, a 26-year-old woman, was not injured. A front passenger of the Ford Freestyle, a 30-year-old woman, was transported to the hospital and listed in stable condition. An additional rear passenger of the Ford Freestyle, a 29-year-old man, was also not injured. The investigation remains ongoing.
