District 3 is investigating a robbery that occurred on July 29 in the Tower Grove East neighborhood.
Shortly before 4 p.m., officers were called to the 3500 block of Humphrey for a report of a hold up. The victims, two men, reported they were taking out yard waste in the alley when they were approached by a male suspect carrying a backpack. The victims said the man pulled a firearm out of the backpack and then announced a robbery. One of the men relinquished his wallet to the suspect. The suspect fled after taking the wallet.
