District 6 is investigating a shooting that happened on March 13, 2025 in the 8400 block of Gast Place in Baden.
At approximately 7:10 p.m., officers received a shooting call at the location. Upon arriving, they located a 29-year-old man and a 31-year-old man both suffering from gunshot wounds.
The 31-year-old man was unable to provide a statement due to his condition. The 29-year-old man was able to tell officers he was with the 31-year-old man, who is his brother, when the 31-year-old man was involved in an argument and fight with a male suspect. During the altercation, the 29-year-old said the suspect fired gunshots, striking both him and his brother. The suspect then fled from the scene after the incident.
EMS transported both men to the hospital. The 31-year-old was listed in critical/unstable condition while the 29-year-old was listed in critical/stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.
