Homicide Detectives are investigating a shooting that left two men dead on May 27, 2025 in Walnut Park West.
At approximately 2:50 a.m., officers received calls for a shooting/shots fired, followed by a call for an accident in the area of Lillian and Woodstock Avenues and in the 6000 block of Thekla. Upon arriving, officers located 24-year-old Shiquan Washington of St. Louis City and another unidentified man both suffering from gunshot wounds inside a wrecked sedan at Lillian & Woodstock.
EMS responded and transported both men to the hospital where they were pronounced dead. An investigation into what led up to the shooting remains underway.
