District 5 is investigating a carjacking that happened on April 15, 2025 in the 5500 block of Pershing Avenue.
A 23-year-old woman told officers she had just parked her Audi A4 around 4:50 p.m. in the 5500 block of Pershing and was walking to a residence when two male suspects approached her. The woman said the suspects displayed handguns and demanded her keys.
The 23-year-old woman said the suspects fled from the scene in her Audi. She was not injured. The investigation remains ongoing.
